Working at Heights

Working at heights.

International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) - Mobile Elevated Working Platform (M.E.W.P)

Legislation, inspection and the safe operation of (MEWPS) often known as cherry pickers and scissor lifts. The training is part classroom and part practical with examinations on both the theory and the practical.

Safety Harness Training

The course covers the different types of harnesses, inspection and regulations, the CE and EN markings. Comprehensive training on fall prevention, protection and rescue.

First Aid Courses

First Aid at Work

A three day course where in depth knowledge is required.

First Aid Re-qualification

This is a two day course to revalidate those who hold the First Aid At Work certificate.

Emergency First Aid at Work.

This course is designed for work environment that has a low risk and it includes, control of bleeding, burns and scalds, over one day. Paediatric.

This is a 6 to 12 hour course covering Paediatric First Aid including Automated External Defibrillation (AED) and anaphylaxis (EpiPen) which is used in the treatment of Alegic reactions.

Road Transport Industry Training Board (R.T.I.T.B) Fork lift course.

Courses from beginner to refresher training. Content includes Legislation, lifting and instability, pre use checks, instruments, controls and loading and stacking. Make your work place safer with the right training.

Fire Awareness

The course will cover fire safety responsibilities, risk assessment, detection and evaluation procedures, fire extinguishers and safety signs.

Fire Marshalling

This course is aimed at personnel who will take an active role in an emergency situation to ensure you understand the causes of fire, chemistry of fire, fire features of your building, types of fire extinguishers, and what to do when you find a fire or hear the alarm.

Manual Handling

This course covers movement of items of items by lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving them by hand or by bodily force. It will ensure employees are competent and trained in manual handling.

Hazardous Substances

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (C.O.S.H.H)

This training course will provide training for employee who work with or come into contact with hazardous substances and to undertake a COSHH assessment by identifying the risks and controls in place for that risk and to ensure they understand how to work safely with hazardous substances.

Composite Repair and Bonded Structure Training

Understanding and the application of a full range of repairs from cosmetic damage to more complex structural repairs. All aspects of structural repairs covered including, resin theory, vacuum bagging, hot bonding, understanding honeycomb and other types of core, types of repair, cutting laminates and cores ------ amongst others.
